  1. 1st of all, I appreciate initiative from dev team to try sort things out. • One REALLY important aspect that should be kept in mind - COMPLETE MAJORITY of community on this server IS THERE FOR RETAIL like stuff and overall game experience (excluding cosmetics obviously. That one works fine, as it is only cosmetics). • Reading the comments above, I can clearly see, that the point above is basically enforced by all of the people there, who care about the server. It seems like custom stuff will not only be taken with a sour taste from majority of existing players, but also can potentially harm online count regarding what is left on the server at the time. Take in consideration some recent servers experience where retail like play were disrupted with some custom touches, e.g. in Hatos x3 server: once custom stuff was included to try boost online, server went from low online to complete 0 in 1 to 2 weeks (NOT EVEN KIDDING.. 😞) Keep in mind, before "rework" server was running somewhere between 9-12+ months with low but steady online.. • But also regarding the try to revive Hatos, dev team did one brilliant thing, just before ruining it with customizations, and that was a CATCH-UP SERVER. •What does it mean? It was a new server that became a twin to the original, except having slightly higher x rate. And once catch-up server actually catches up the original (regarding items and preliminary overall progress), the merge happens so all new and old players who otherwise had left server before can have complete new experiences in new server and then can have ACTUAL CHANCE TO CONFRONT the old server players who's ruling the original server without any chance to get opposed by anybody anymore.. • Also regarding catch-up server it gains as much attention as any other NEW server that everybody is craving for, especially at this time of the year - people just want a new start! So having some BETA test server before the grand opening of catch-up server in accordance to some overall marketing and streamers could bring an unexpected amount of players to the Vanilla twin server and after the merge would completely reanimate the original Vanilla that we all fell in love with. I strongly suggest to consider suggested path instead of just playing "god" with customizations, as complete majority of players who left and the ones who continue playing in Vanilla, is there for retail like experiences after all. Choose wisely..

  2. I have a few suggestions - 1 - For example you can have that buff until character attacks, so it will not makes unfair at least to run from PK characters. I think that could make more chances against high-level player killers when you just have to run through PvP/PK zones. My thoughts. 2 - Add 10% buff for Atk Speed/MAtk Speed/Atk/MAtk/Defense activation when character join hunter zone or with Adventurer's guide. That can be triggered until character gains 20 or 40 level. 3 - Adena drop rate could be also increased with XP farm, so buying gear will not be that hard after reaching needed grade. That's about my thoughts.

We are planning for Vanilla re-launch (Vanilla+), just me and a new GM to help out with community ( @Nightwing ), most features will be the same such as old Vanilla but now we will focus more on "Loner" players and help them out Join a Clan or CP when they are ready without having to run 3-4 clients until then. Vanilla+ XP/SP rate will be x7. For that we would like to introduce our Farm Only buff option via Adventurers' Guides. Players will be able to farm with X-hour(s) buffs but in case they engage in PK / PvP Zone / Epic PvP Zone they will get canceled. Let us know what you think!

  4. I will give each idea a number so we can track them easily and possibly also comment on some of them. 1. The server needs a longer period of advertising before opening just so the news spreads. Also the catching up mechanic /bonuses have to be proactive and not something done later on in the server life. Even after the first week some bonuses should apply to newcomers just so that they can catch up faster. 2. A central NPC similar to Venustia from first season, her/his functions would be as follows: - Allows players to convert the color of Soul Crystals lvl 11+ - Allows players to convert common items into real ones 5:1 ratio. - Allows players to convert 60% recipes into 100% for a price ( up to S grade) - Allows players to upgade life stones to a higher level but not rarity ( this works because life stones have ~ same chances of dropping from monsters regardless of their level) - Sells 2 potions for spoiler class : Forgetfulness potion ( can spoil mobs up to 30 levels bellow current level but user forgets his combat skills thus lowering patk /def m atk /m def by 40%) AND Oblivion potion ( can spoil mobs up to 60 levels bellow current level but user forgets his combat skills thus lowering patk /def m atk /m def by 70% ) The potion lasts 1h , and the debuffs it applies are necessary to make sure a high level spoiler cannot outcompete low level spoilers in that area , or gain any advantage by clearing a area faster that intended. - Sells shots later into the server life as there will be little incentive to craft them anymore. 3. Lets face it , the game doesn't have a lot of players left , the retail way of handling buffs is not going to work , Ray did a good job with the buffer but there were some drawbacks : I don't think having a full buffer is in the spirit of a low rate server ,having a full buffer excluded the buffer classes from the game , there were also limitations on what you could do with these buffs , no siege/pk . Here is what I suggest : The the player can chose from a single list containing all buffs+dances/songs , but he can only chose 10 buffs , this number also increases as player levels up , to a maximum of 14 buffs ( this number is subject to change). The player can team up with SWS for example , he needs only to get dances and regular buffs from the NPC Buffer as the songs are provided by the sws. If you have prophet in your party then you will just pick songs and dances from the NPC Buffer ...etc . Each time you rebuff , the npc will cancel all your previous buffs , so you can't cheat. - Some classes have a way of applying self buffs Like ( , , ) , this gives them a small advantage when choosing buffs from NPC . - If you enjoy playing a buffer class , you will always have full buffs ..More power to Ya ! - Some smart players will also rely on herbs to complete their buffs. - Some other players will also buy potions to complete their buffs. - Even pair these rewards with the buffs they chose . - You can also pair clan hall buffs with the npc buffer to get a full set of buffs. So in some circumstances players can still get full buffs without needing a buffer class , but its not as easy as a single click like it is right now , some planning and thought is needed. This system requires more thinking from the player , it allows players to take advantage of clan hall buffs , oly staffs , potions , pet buffs , self buffs etc ( all these things being part of the game but sadly having 0 relevance with the current buffer system). 4. I always disliked that on gracia + servers you always are better of if you skip b / a gear and just focus on S , this happens mostly because of the attribute system .I suggest that if you manage to get a B or A grade set to +6 then the set bonuses also give resistance to all elements ,the value of these resistances will be slightly lower than the maximum value possible to have in armors at that specific server time , if the maximum is 60 then this bonus will be 50. Some armor sets have a amazing bonuses but are rendered useless by the attribute system , this change is aiming to give players more viable options of gearing up and new ways to tackle oly matches . As for B and A weapons and I would also include C weapons as well , the only solution that is not invasive that I could think of is increasing the dmg of SSC SSB SSA as server progresses so instead of doing 100% dmg they will do 120% . So if you want to rock that + 16 homunculus sword , you probably can and still be competitive with it. We could extend the attribute system to A B C gear but I feel that will be to confusing and way to custom , but the players can vote on this . 5. On the topic of gear There was no interaction with top grade A weapons on this server , so I was thinking to implement them as full drops from the Rb's that carry their name. Example raid boss: Krokian Padisha Sobekk will also drop Sobekk's Hurricane 1/40 , Common Item - Sobekk's Hurricane 1/3 , Sobekk's Hurricane Edge min 5 max 20 with 1/2, all in the same group with 100% chance. 6. SWS & BD both gain a passive maximum ability skill (the same skill kamaels can trigger with +4 rapiers) . This will make it so that active sws & bds can trigger this buff for themselves and the party allowing them to use their skills without mana cost ( huge for these classes) . In addition to this change , all songs/dances heal and restore a little mana for the entire party when cast. The heal and mana restore function is very expensive considering how much mana these classes use for a single dance/song , but if paired with the maximum ability the downsides could be negated. These changes mostly help active sws and bd , keeping them as a box in the party will not take advantage of these skills. 7. Some areas seemed to be OP in regards to exp and adena /items drops , mostly zones where you can train mobs (VARKA , FOG ,etc) making them the only viable way to progress at a fast pace. I was thinking we could add some zones than shift around the map ( mostly landing on these underrated zones) and within this zone players gain 50% more experience 20% more adena and better spoil rates . 8. Some B/A grade recipes /parts can only be obtained by drop or in cases where it can be spoiled the chances are very low. At some point B grade was top and then followed by A and it was hard to obtain them ,understandable , but at the current time they are far from the best and are just as hard to get as they once were and it makes no sense. Obviously the rates which you obtain there recipes/parts needs a drastic change to make them a bit more accessible.

  5. The purpose of Cabal was for initial Spring setup. Now we are changing into summer version and new players that hopefully will join after our advertisements will need Mammons, their level will progress relative fast until 80 level. Limit them with sealed items etc while having the levels is not a good idea. Buffs will always remain the same on Farm Only buffer.

  6. first of all against the ant queen lvl 83....then who approved buffs and mammon ? we will become pvp server ? then make it x2000 ... costume augmentation why? why we need it? Rey with respect the server is well made but with these updates i dont see why anyone should come here... if we wanted to play a pvp server we would go to x1000, here is a low mid rate for the old times sake.   20. May I suggest adding the vote links from main site somewhere inside the launcher application? In opinion it would stimulate (and cut the necessary actions to vote in half) people to vote. I say cut in half because currently in order to vote you have to open the main page and find the links - yes they are big and very visible, but having another extra step, myself honestly as I log my chars I forget that I had the intention to vote in the first place. Having them as shortcuts in the launcher itself will be much easier. Desired flow: 1. Start the Launcher 2. click vote button 3. the vote page opens in the background 4. click start the game (or in case of numbering buttons: 1.Create an Account 2.Vote(with small icons for each site) 3.Full check 4.Start the game) Example below (or something in those lines):

General -Enabled 3rd class transfer service as per features (Available only for classes that have already entered Hall Of Fame) -Inviting in party a player that is in ‘Offline Vitality regen mode’ will return a message ‘This person is in offline Vitality Regen bonus mode.’ NPCs -[QoL] Added ‘Rune Town Square’ teleport for Arisha and Stanislava (Rune Castle Town Gateekepers) Farm Only buffer -Players will be able to remove Farm Only Dance and Songs with ALT + Click. -Added ‘Cancel Farm Only buffs’ option into Adventurer’s Guide. -Hitting a player into an Epic PvP zone will only remove Farm Only buffs (in rare cases it removed random buffs). Geodata -Fix for strict ‘Cannot see target’ in areas with a lot of obstacles, it might help in corners too. -Falling from cliffs should be a lot better now, close to Retail instant fix. (Falling from cliffs is Client side MAP error that was fixed on later Chronicles) -Fix for Swimming issues.

Casual players should be more supported because they make up server too and they will stay on server longer than nolifers which come, farm, own oly/grb/cs/tw and then leave. 1) Commons can be dropped usually in solo locations with herbs. That means it helps casual players (nolifers would have full pt and aoe cata/necro). I would support idea 10 commons + BS (server currency) = full item. It makes commons more valuable, not only things for crystals. 2) I played on official classic since first day. 0.25x rate and still people were running 1 main + 2 petboxes (3 windows was limit). I am not fan of buffboxes. Server should have NPC buffer, no matter what. I would like to see NPC buffer with only second class skills without resists. In clan hall buffs should be in addition 3rd buffs. What Piffy suggesting isn't bad idea and I would support it – you get buffs corresponding to your level, i.e. if you are 35 lvl, you can get buffs from 35 lvl buffers. That wouldn't be applied on clan hall buffer. 3) Works polearm here properly? Without polearm mastery you should hit only 3 mobs. With it (max lvl) 13 mobs. Warlords can hit 18 mobs with buff. All skills +0. 4) I am for change sub class lvl limit from 80 to 85. For judicators it's really important. To have sub skills on subclass is meh in my opinion. 5) Instead of removing manor it would be better little adjustment. For example 25% of min of max amount crops among all castles can be sold by char per minute. Example: Blue coba has max 360/400/560/800/896 in Gludio/Giran/Aden/Goddard/Rune. Minimum is 360. 25% of 360 is 90. So 90 would be limit per char per minute. 6) Vitality system is the greatest thing that NCsoft did for casuals. Remove vitality herbs, because it helps only aoe nolife farmers. + Regaining vitality in peace zone should be boosted to the same amount as regain amount while being off, otherwise it's more worth for people to be offline than online. It's better for server to have online people those are chatting, walking in towns or fishing. 7) Global chat should be for everyone without tokens. Chat spam is signal that server is alive. 8.) Olympiad. Oly is dead expect last days. Dead days are good only for clans which want to feed. Let's do two week oly. Oly days will be only four per cycle – Fridays and Saturdays. These days are best for everyone, especially saturday. It would be almost 1 person = 1 char on oly. Hero would be announced on Sunday in the sign period of 7s. 9) 60% RCP + BS = 100% RCP 10) Casuals play 1-2 hours per day and then log off. Events shouldn't be over day and every 1 hour. Let's say 3 events per day. First event won't be based on your lvl and gear – Bomberman, Zombie. Second would be based on your lvl and gear – TvT, Last Man Standing. Third would be based on your lvl, gear and proffesion – TvT without buffs. Of course those events need little adjustment to motivate people to play them actively, for example every kill = 50% BS for you, 50% BS for your party members. 11) Add Interlude weapons to Sailren's drop list. 25% group chance. 12) Little boost of BD/SwS/WC. As long as BD and SwS have heavy dynasty, they should get 2nd class passive on heavy armors. On one server I saw adjustment of BD/SwS/WC, I will post urls. It isn't bad idea, because they won't be better than other chars, but it would be more enjoyable if you choose to play them. Every week will be new cycle of changes for 2 weeks. People can suggest changes, vote for them. In pool will be attribute dmg change (increase and decrease), inPvP will work attribute system in the same way as in PvE (that means when you have higher resist than oponent's ele attack, you decrease his dmg, which I think it should be normal on gracia -_-), increasing limit for atk. and cast. spd, increasing limit of physical and magic crit rate, increasing limit of acurracy and evasion, ele stones can be added to A grade gear (after cycle it will be reseted), etc. More interesting stuff. 14) Buff herbs highly suck. Remove them. It can be added GoD+ herbs: Herb of Mysterious Power: P. Atk. is increased by 100% for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Herb of Mysterious Magic Power: M. Atk. is increased by 400% for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Interesting is adjustment of Herb of Doubt: Enlarged head: For 10 minutes, the size of your head is enlarged; or Vesper armor and weapon transformation: For 10 minutes, the equipped weapon and armor appear to be its Vesper-series equivalent; or Baguette transformation: For 10 minutes, the equipped weapon appears to be a pastry or bakery item. I think 'Prophecy' herb would be nice, too. 15) Add target debuff view system, which will allow players to see other player's and monster's debuffs on the target window 16) Vote. Not sure if I recommended it, but vote rewards should increase stats, otherwise people won't vote. Buff increasing stats (+5% non-pvp P./M. atk/def), HighFive shirt whis is increasing STR/DEX/CON/INT/WIT/MEN on +3 to +9 (with low enchant chances of course), exp +20% (for higher levels not interesting -_-, so maybe increased drop of ...), premium for 12 hours or something alike this. This will force people to vote. 17) To motivate people to go daily kamaloka can be 24h ticket for global (nobless) tp. 18) If you want play support char, you are screwed unless you find CP. If you play alone, it is worth to pick DD and your main. For example for me, as EE, it is worth to have SH + EE, get equip on SH, exp with it and then swap to EE. Tanks are fcked too. It would be nice to add them some skills so they could stand DDs in PvE. For example EE can learn PvE-Hydro blast – same power, but 1 PvP power, SE PvE-Hurricane, PP/Bish PvE-Prominence, OL/WC PvE-Death Spike with zero consume bones. Tanks can get self-buff with +10% PvE damage. 19) Various custom items. It seems to be bullshit, BUT it is entertainment content. 98% of quests in Lineage are useless and some revive would be nice. Lineage is mostly about grind in a few locations, which is monotone and sad. Second proof forces you to look in every location, which is pretty nice. Custom quest should be for example – do this quest and your stats will be increased by XX. Get this amount of QI and you'll get this. For XX Varka's Mane you get badge lvl 1, which increases your stats, you can upgrade it etc. Get X Silver Unicorn Coins, X Gold Wyvern Coins and X Blood Medusa Coins. Etc. Something like Ability Tree, but focused on in-game quests and items. 20) Rates should be lower, 4-7x.

  28. -Fixed kamaels will get hybrid buffs from start. -Very nice test/thinking with Dialogues, it was already on my list just forgot to add checks, thanks for letting us know, fixed. -Garden of Eva doors will open every 120 seconds +30 random from now on. -Added on-screen message for Spoil activation.

  30. -Kamaels are getting acumen/ hybrid buffs, maybe before 1st class are not counting as Hybrids. Will check it, plan to make a Kamael list too. -We are not plan to edit any droplist on this version -Will check about over-hit shown damage, it should be correct but on final EXP you get other bonuses from Premium etc -We will make it on-screen. -Agree with Herb of Vitality but we had issues when we added from newer client, will re-check. -Will adjust doors.   31. After leveling up a few chars I have something to report. -If you want to play kamael as mage early on , you cannot because the buffs you get are oriented more for fighter style. I had to play only in herb dropping zones and hope for some acumen/mystic potions to drop. I really wish you could chose individual buffs and not relay on the scheme the npc offers. Also another small inconvenience is that only the buffer in Giran offers the farm buffs , so if you die , you have to travel all the way to main town to get these buffs. ALSO ,I have noticed that if you keep the dialogue window opened , you can buff outside towns under some circumstances ( this happens only with normal dialogue options from the npc because they don't have action timer) -I really wished more zones such as Tanor canyon , ancient battlegrounds , etc had herbs dropping. -After performing an overhit , you get the correct exp but the system message shows an incorrect value , perhaps it shows the value bases on 1x rates and does not take into account the 7x multiplier. -I would love a better way to indicate that a spoil was successful on a target. -Shouldn't there be more mobs in Frozen labyrinth ? there are some big area with like 3 mobs in total , wasn't this changed after interlude to have groups of mobs ? -Can we get the skin from later chronicles for the vitality potion(the one with wings)? Its should stand out more. -I wanted to farm in garden of Eva but it takes a lot of time to get to the center because of the doors that open every 5 minutes . Can we increase the rate of these doors to like 1 minute, I don't think waiting for doors to open is the best use of the time in 2023.

  33. I played on e-global some time ago , just for the nostalgic feeling nothing more, but I have to say that was one of the best servers I played on. Some things they did that made sense and were actually of good quality( Maybe we can implement some of them?) : -Luxury shops also had other b grade armor sets such as blue wolf (something that is impossible to craft without a huge players pool) -Buffers had some custom skills to be more in line with the modern player base, what I mean by that : * Prophets/ee/se also had a version of one of their buffs that would apply to the whole party like the WC does->Mass wind walk , Mass acumen , etc * BD/SWS had extra buffs that would combine a song+a dance similar to what they did in goddess of destruction chronicle. Basically you only needed one of the two buffers in party and wasn't forced to run both. * Kamael players were able to transform their main class to Judicator via a quest ,later in the game. * Judicators got a big life improvement change , they nerfed buffs such as Appetite from 50% to 43% but they received a toggle skill that gave the entire party 7% of the effect of Appetite. Basically Judicators always gave their parties a smaller effect of one off these buffs-> Appetite/Impulse/instinct , and when it was needed they also could apply the normal buff . Now this change I really liked because it makes judicators fit in all party types , and it makes investing in such a class way more rewarding. * Also judicators had the passive skill ->maximum ability the one you get when enchanting a rapier to 4+, This made them even more fun to play and even a low lvl one with no gear could provide this buff to his party. -This is more of a concern I have since it happened to me in the past , sometimes players level faster than the first souls shots of grade d,c appear on the market , I had played on servers is the past were I was forced to use a nograde weapon until lvl 40 . is there a chance to introduce soul shots in shops (overpriced of course) so that we could circumvent this possible issue ? Mybe add them to luxury shop ? - Also , you could add elements to C , B, A gear , it was more diversity in regards to armor and it made all sets viable.

  38. Most of them are nice ideas, especially for a Remastered version. For now i am looking for a Vanilla+ version with few QoL additions that will make the game fun and for casual/solo players 🙂
